When we look around us, we still see a lot of people suffering, most silently. And to be able to write about some experiences and to share it with others is wonderful as we need to make others be aware about what is going on around us. The unfortunate ladies and children around deserve some attention from us if we care to sacrifice some time , effort or even money to lessen others' sufferings regardless of their race or religion.
It's so sad that all the worst ever crimes against women and children escape severe punishments just because generally the men have powerful influence , status and the existing courts just pass very light sentence for their crimes. Women continuously get the blame for not being a perfect or obedient wife and for starting all the family troubles.
Nowadays, women have begun to think about their own rights and gender equality so much so that men mostly get irritated by it. They are not to be fooled. As women become more demanding when it comes to their rights, men's status get threatened. They still refuse to give their women the freedom but would rather control them and they will not admit their own faults or realise their mistakes to help save the marriage or a relationship. They torture and break the hearts of the women they vowed to love and look after on their wedding day or during dates.
Men can do whatever they like, even to divorce their wives and not providing for the family at all. They continuously abuse their women mentally, verbally and physically regardless of their status in society. Some batter their wives until they are injured seriously or murdered. If these men have the money and power or have contacts with very important people , they can get away from all these crimes. Some Malaysians are much influenced by materialism and the poor are still looked down upon here.
Whatever, the women do is wrong and when the various women organisations or NGOs speak up for the unfortunate ladies, they are condemned and regarded as going against religion and certain groups want them to be banned immediately. Let's be rational and think before we act. The women organisations all over the world are doing a wonderful job to lessen the sufferings of women. They feed the poor and needy, and shower them with love and care when help don't reach them. Do men organisations do these meritorious acts? If so, there are too few and definately it is enough.
Women organisations protect them and fight for justice for all ,not only for one person. They take care of them when these poor women and children are suffering from hunger and torture. Shouldn't we be praising them for these selfless acts and giving them full support? Women should no longer be considered as weaklings but instead be given more opportunities to rule the country. I believe we are able to do a better job considering the shameful acts done by certain men leaders and others who only think of filling their own pockets above all. Women are more concern, sincere, loyal and loving. So let us vote more efficient women into the Parliament to see to this. We want to see women themselves act for the unfortunate women for they will understand these matters better. It is only fair and Malaysia will be a better place to stay for each and every one. Can we achieve the visions of a truly ONE MALAYSIA?
It is very sad indeed, to live in a modern era where domestic violence , drug addiction , social crimes etc. are on the rise. I believe, many of us who are in the right mind think that the authorities must concentrate on acting on all the complains about the men who abuse women and children. They have to act fast to catch criminals , syndicate or ring leaders. However, the truth is the irresponsible men continue to enjoy committing their crimes shamelessly without any punishments at all and the authorities are not interested in handling these cases or rather they 'close an eye or both". Some have the cheek to talk about how pious they are and how successful they are in life when they have committed loads of sins.
Anyway, we still give the unfortunate women and their children hope for a better life and pray for them in our prayers. It's important to stay united to fight for a good cause and to act wisely so that Malaysia is respected by other countries all over the world. To whoever supports a good cause and intention, do not have any fear to speak up and may all the good leaders take the right action without being threatend by anyone. The decisions lie in the hands of the top authorities and there should be talks together to overcome a crisis or social problems. Do act professionally and wisely.
