WHEN DREAMS COME TRUE...

A Charity Ballet Performance entitled, "When Dreams Come True.." will be held at the Perak State Banquet Hall in Ipoh, perak on Wednesday, 25 Nov. 2009 at 8.00 p.m. Datin Rosalina Ooi's City Ballet Academy will be staging the performance to raise funds for PWW. This fund raising effort is organised by The Perak Women For Women Society, a non governmental organization in aid of women, children and families in crisis. All profits will be used to set up a service and resource centre for women at its new premise at 52, Jln Sultan Azlan Shah in Ipoh and improve services and provide a place for women to bond, learn a skill, join a support group or volunteer in various projects.

Perak Women For Women (PWW ) , registered in December 2003 is working towards improving the lives of women. It is run by a group of dynamic women volunteers who are determined to empower other women to stand equal or even higher in society.

The activities include promotion of gender equality, elimination of discriminations in all forms, prevention of violence against women, promoting RESPECT and rape awareness in primary and secondary schools, and promoting women's health awareness. The society also offers support, counselling and shelter for women in crisis , etc. PWW is fully dependent on funds and donations to support its activities.
