"Salam Aidil Fitri" to all my Muslim friends and pupils. Hope this raya will bring everyone joy, peace and goodwill. I've been busy for awhile and now I'm going to enjoy a short break.
I hope my pupils and ex-pupils will enjoy themselves this raya. I wish all of them well in their studies and success in life. I would like to thank my dear ex-pupils who send me wishes. It's nice to hear that they still remember their old teacher. I do hope they'll use the skselama.net portal as a platform to contact one another and wish one another well. I love to see my ex-pupils' children who study in my school. Calling them my 'cucu' or grandchildren, I feel I am growing old.
I hope my colleagues will enjoy their raya with their family, friends and relatives. By mixing with them I understand how hard they go about fasting, doing household chores and school work. Here's wishing all a safe journey back to their hometowns and a lovely reunion with their relatives.
I too wish that all Malaysians will be more understanding, considerate and courteous. Lately, there has been some unpleasant news so I hope the condition will improve soon. Hope people will be aware of their own mistakes and change for the better. May this festive season bring all of us closer for together we will be able to make a beautiful Malaysia.
Once again, to everyone who is celebrating Aidil Fitri, may you have a lovely and memorable raya.
