On 21 March, 2009, my beloved mum-in-law, Ng Kim Eng passed away at the age of 86. My family was with her when she passed away. I still miss her. A pleasant lady whom I have learnt a lot from. She came from China in her younger days and settled down here. Though life was hard before, she never complained but struggled through to bring up eight children. Something I admire about her . Her thriftiness, patience and caring attitude touches me the most. We were very sad on her demise. Her health had been deteriorating since Chinese New Year.
I would like to thank all friends and relatives for their condolences in this period of sadness. We appreciate the full page of orbituary spread full page in Kwang Wah newspaper published by friends from Selama, Perak especially. Thanks and appreciation to Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen, Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fen, Y.B. Senator Heng Seai Kie, M.C.A. leaders ,Wanita MCA Larut Committee, Wanita MCA Taman Merdeka Committee, Gerakan leaders, businessmen and a long list of friends.
A number of photos were taken for remembrance.
