The Curtain Will Fall Soon

Another year will be gone just like many others before. Time flies so fast that we can't catch up with it. As usual for me, there are too many things to handle and there is still some unfinished work to do. 2012 has been a year of changes for me or rather transformation. Finally,I had to leave my previous school , SK Selama which I had served for 28 years and got posted to SK Bendang Siam, Changkat Jering, Taiping. I have grown to love my present school, SK Bendang Siam which is smaller and the pupils come from a lower economy background. I have promised to help the pupils improve in their English and I will. Just for the last six months, motivation programmes had been run under the English Language Campaign. The pupils generally got motivated to learn English and this is a good sign. Staying in Taiping now, I really miss my life in Selama where I have my circle of friends and many activities. Now , when I recall , life has been meaningful and am glad I had a number of good and bad experiences as well. Over here,my studies and school work have kept me busy. My dream to pursue a degree came true and I will do my best. Social Science is interesting and having the experience in all sorts of social activities, it is indeed going to be useful to me especially when I retire. Will be majoring in Sociology and Anthropology and minoring in Political Science. I have this as my retirement plan. I'll be able to contribute to the education field, NGOs and government agencies. Besides looking after my family I still have activities to keep me busy. Am fortunate too to be accompanied by my grand daughter as I get to look after her as well as she is a little darling to my hubby too. Since, retirement, my husband, Chuah has nothing to do so now he gets to care for Grachael as well since she's studying in the Chinese school here. The best time is when my children come back and they are all grown up now. Am glad and at this golden age, I must keep more calm and be more pleasant. Well, I'm looking forward to a better 2013 and hope to stay healthy and happy. Hope it'll be a more successful year too. Here's wishing my loved ones and all , "Happy New Year"
