Attended the Wanita MCA Perak CNY Gathering at Lido Restaurant in Ipoh.

Kak Long Kamariah will always be in my heart and as I've promised I'll
always visit her at the old folks home whenever I'm free.  This CNY visit had cheered her up.

New Year Look but still the same old me. 

In new year mood. 

I dropped by to see these poor kids and their teachers at the PPDK Nur Gemilang.

It is the seventh day of Chinese New Year and I am thankful and appreciate all the good things in life.  As for food, there is a plenty and clothes are too many.  Now , that all my children have grown up, I appreciate their thoughts for me and their father and the gifts that we receive. Also not forgetting, an 'ang pow' each for they have started earning from their new career life and that's wonderful.

Just as things get old they remind me I've to get them replaced and so I've got a pair of new spectacles, a washing machine that can wash 13 kg of clothes and a bigger refrigerator.  Am satisfied that they are big enough to perform bigger tasks.  


It was great to have my grand daughter to spend a few days with me as she would always entertain and cheer me up.  The reunion dinner in Taiping was great too.  My children love to meet all their cousins and they would chat and go for a movie together.  When they were small, they would play fireworks and fire crackers . Now all have grown up and I realise I am getting much older .  In another few years, I would be playing with more grand children and it would be great.

On the third day of new year,  the reunion was m own family affair where my two girls brought their boy friends along.  They brought lovely gifts and I notice my hubby and I are appreciated and lots of health food and drink are meant for us to keep healthy.  My blessings for them all .


For my whole staff in school, a few oranges and a packet of muffins and for the pupils I am teaching this year, oranges and sweets.  I appreciate the friendship and relationship. I dropped by to see the staff and pupils from Pusat Pemulihan Komuniti Nur Gemilang to give them some gifts too.  I would be organising a party for them after the Chinese New Year. 


Had visited a few relatives but will be visiting more when I am free. Glad that Sis. Nurlina and Brother-In-Law Jamili dropped by to see me in Selama.  


Loved to have a nice chat with friends in the evenings.  I could enjoy myself with my friends while my hubby had a fun time playing 'mahjong' with his friends.  I drove down to Taiping with two friends to visit a sick friend in hospital and then I visited Kak Long Kamariah at the old folks' home.  This morning, I drove to Ipoh to attend two MCA events.  If I had not woke up late, everything would be better.  

I enjoyed the Wanita MCA Perak CNY party at Lido Restaurant in Ipoh.  It was indeed fun.  My red cheong sam made me feel good.  On the 3rd February, our Larut Division MCA will be hosting a CNY dinner and I'm helping to distribute the invitations to the heads of departments and agencies here.  So we hope to see a huge gathering of people of all races in harmony.  


Time is not to be wasted and I have to do the things I love doing.  On the 2nd Feb. am taking leave to go on a trip.  It's an opportunity to visit the home for the handicapped children and old folks home in Ipoh, a fruit farm in Taiping and a beautifully lit temple in KL  I am going to miss the PTA meeting on the same afternoon but the trip is just as important.  Anyway, I have contributed four prizes for the lucky draw for that event.  


Life is getting more hectic now.  Workload is increasing and there is a lot of preparations to be made for the coming English competitions and school evaluation done by education officers.  Well work needs to be done and I keep on reminding myself my school pupils need my attention most .
