TROUBLES, TROUBLES, TROUBLES EVERY WHERE

We wish one another well and all the best so often. Cheerful faces and the exchange of smiles, a toast of drinks and enjoying lots of delicacies together amidst laughter and music. However, this kind of happiness and joy does not last long as there may be no sincerity in our handshakes or friendship. Once the merry making is over, we go our own ways.

As we know, people can pretend and act in front of the public and they can even be double - headed snakes as well. Sometimes, we tend to misjudge people. There are those who are genuinely true in their actions while others are not. Though there are a few trouble makers, it is enough to create havoc in any situation. Believe me, these troubles can break up a family unit, friendships, business or even rock a nation. They make headlines in the newspapers or become hot topics of the day.

Indeed, some people get the thrill in creating troubles and observing how the targeted people react. I've heard of a young bride who created lots of troubles for her in-law's family until everyone is at loggerheads with each other. Some people can control others like the bride did to her mother-in-law and they will not stop until they get what they aim for, usually it is money, power and property.

In politics, the whole scenario can be observed and it proves that troubles are indeed created by the politicians themselves. When those involved are our policy makers and lawmakers, the situation is serious. Those elected ones must remember they are voted by the people to serve the people above everything else. They must stick to their promises to serve the people and have responsibility and dignity. Instead, many are overcome by their own greed and have no good principles. Any troubles therefore is unhealthy for it may create more chaos and disunity among its people.

More efforts is needed to overcome some problems before the situation gets worse. Basic moral values and good principles of life should be practised daily. Simple ways like forgiving one another, sharing and caring that we are supposed to teach young kids will make a great difference. Besides, respecting others and being humble are other good virtues. So is thanking and showing appreciation. However, they are simplier said than done. Thus we see, vengeance and revenge in play, selfish acts, and unfair treatment of others. Usually, the weaker and poorer ones are being victimized while the rich and powerful over rule all.

Troubles are every where but we are not aware especially when there is already a secret plan to start a war. There are warning signs but people who are always busy do not realise this before it is too late. People enjoy surprising others and attracting attention by creating shocking news. Perhaps, that's the way to become famous or notorious. When there are troubles after troubles day by day created by people in power or those who have the capabilities to do so, the innocent ones lose in the end. It is not a win win situation.

Unity programmes such as One Malaysia Programmes can be successful if all are sincere to cooperate wholeheartedly to make it a success. All troubles should be analysed and just not put aside as they might prop up again another day. Once each and everyone know the concept and understand well the aim and objectives of such programmes, they will work willingly together for its good cause. They must believe in it without any ill feelings. If not they will cause troubles again and again.

Recently, we hear about how little children got murdered and abused in our country. Today, a 10-year old girl was forced to marry his father's friend and she's still missing. Gosh, what had happened to her. Well, all these troubles are actually crimes already and all the culprits should receive the heaviest ever punishments. Let us be aware of such crimes going on around us and help to save the young ones who get easily into troubles like this. Some people are behaving worse than animals nowadays.

For every action, there is a reaction. Hopefully, only good and righteous actions are done and bad actions are avoided. Let all troubles halt immediately. May all have the wish to bring peace, unity and harmony together. It all depends on us to do the best we can.
